Diabetes is increasing in leaps and bounds and so are its complications like neuropathy. Lot of studies are done for relieving painful diabetic neuropath (PDN). It is observed that certain pharmacological agents and non pharmacological methods are promising.

We need some guidelines to help us determine how best to treat blood pressure in the elderly. The medical groups say a sudden drop in blood pressure can cause fainting, which could result in serious injuries for older patients. A new guideline’s aim is to make it easier in some ways to treat hypertension in elderly, but not to treat it too aggressively.

Accurate diagnosis of many neurological conditions, especially movement disorders is difficult to make in the initial stages. Hence management in such cases is delayed. Many people mistakenly attribute the first symptoms of PS, such as PD, to the normal aging process, and many have misconceptions about diagnosis. DaTscan is helpful in diagnosing PS.
