The aims of this study were to provide a description of the phenomenology of ISB in the geriatric population, to identify potential contributing factors, and to review the efficacy of interventions aimed at reducing ISB.

This trial is the first exercise study that focuses on fracture incidence as a primary study endpoint. Findings further increased the evidence that exercise relevantly prevents fractures in the elderly.

Contact lens is what we use for cosmetic purpose, but here is a study that says myopia progression reduces in children with dual focus soft lens. This study will be a great boon for the management of refractive errors.
Results of an early phase trial indicate that wearing an experimental dual-focus soft contact lens can reduce myopia progression in children, according to a New Zealand team.
Evidence from animal and human studies indicate that retinal defocus — with the plane of focus in front to the retina — reduces axial eye growth, but at the cost of poor acuity.
