Obese people are dissatisfied in many ways. Their sex life is one such area. This could be due to mechanical factors – movement and manoeuvrings in additional to biochemical issues. Treating Doctor’s awareness on such issue will make easy for obese patients to discuss their problems with doctors. Team@CMHF

Interestingly, number of CABG performed has decreased compared to Angioplasties over past few years. The drop in CABG surgery rates was observed across sex, age, racial and regional subgroups. The reason for this is not one particular factor. Team@CMHF

Non availability of an Antiviral protective mask was severely felt with the outbreak of H1N1 virus. At last FDA approves BioMask made by a Hong Kong–based company found to be effective against most influenza viruses. It is said to be effective against H1N1 virus also. Team@CMHF

All transitions are difficult. Adolescence is considered to be a tough period. So is the transition from adolescent healthcare to adult healthcare. Lot of care and guidance are required during that period, more so if they are suffering from any chronic condition. It becomes a challenge for the family physician /treating doctor. Team@CMHF
