Obesity also cause of Less Satisfying Sexual function

Obese people are dissatisfied in many ways. Their sex life is one such area. This could be due to mechanical factors – movement and manoeuvrings in additional to biochemical issues. Treating Doctor’s awareness on such issue will make easy for obese patients to discuss their problems with doctors.

A study carried out regarding the sex life of obese patients before weight loss programme, concluded that obese people have less satisfying sex lives. Sexual quality of life was lower in obese women than obese men. Research says that obesity is associated with lesser sexual functioning.

Since obese are discriminated, they welcome the idea of a discussion of their problems in such sensitive issues with doctors, who can handle the problem with more sympathetic approach.
