One of the problems with male breast cancer is that it’s so rare, and not a lot of people are aware of it.
Doctors check for prostate, testicular cancer, but they don’t check for nothing else. We don’t expect it. That’s a woman’s disease. It’s not a man’s disease.
Male breast cancer is less than 1 percent and the cause of male breast cancer is unknown. There are many risk factors, and they are different in men than in women.

Although research has linked cancer risks in certain individuals to genetics and lifestyle, and when it comes to cancer, prevention is the key. Having a positive mind is key to coping with cancer.

Early detection, regular exams by a doctor and monthly self-exams allow preventive measures to help beat the disease.
